Plymouth National Wax Museum's Full Size Wax Figures for Sale

For Sale: More than 200 120 lifelike full size figures, hand painted and topped with human hair, were created to depict the story of the Pilgrims who arrived on the Mayflower in Plymouth MA in 1620.

The life-size figures are made of a vinyl compound similar to the plastic use in Tupperware and were designed by the late artist Earl Dorfman.  The figures are durable, detailed, and lend themselves to many theatric and artistic applications.

Since little is known about the physical features of Pilgrims, Dorfman mainly used his own friends and family with two exceptions:  Elizabeth Taylor’s features were used to portray Priscilla Mullins and Ringo Starr was used to portray one anonymous Pilgrim.
